Not necessarily 'better' in absolute terms. They are different, often quieter, frequently cheaper, and on many trips a more rewarding choice.
Do you have a mobile app?+
Not yet. The website is mobile-first and works well in any modern browser.
Can I reprint your articles?+
Short excerpts with attribution and a link are welcome. Full republication requires written permission.
Do you take advertising?+
We do not run third-party display ads. We use disclosed affiliate links for a small number of relevant booking services.
How can I suggest a destination?+
Use our contact form. Tell us your relationship to the place and why you think it deserves coverage.
Why don't you cover destination X?+
Either we haven't visited yet, or we have decided the place is too fragile to recommend further attention.
How often do you update articles?+
At least once a year, and immediately when significant on-the-ground changes occur.
